Ubizane is Zulu for the 'The place of calling'.
The lodge is situated just 4 km from the main town of Hluhluwe and near the access road to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park. The location of this lodge is ideal as there is many tourist attractions including the National Park and the Greater St Lucia World Heritage Site and the airport is around 2 and a half hours drive away. The lodge is made up of the Zululand Tree Lodge and the Zululand Safari Lodge.
The Safari Lodge is selfcatering and very child friendly making it ideal for family vacations.
There are 27 re-modelled, rondavel-inspired room options available. These range from 2-sleepers to bigger family units, proving that there’s plenty of space for everyone at our Safari Lodge. Each rondavel has been fitted with our trademark glass panelled sliding doors, offering an extended view of the Reserve and the chance to catch a glimpse of some bypassing wildlife, all from the comfort of your bed.
