The property is perfectly positioned within a sprawling wildlife sanctuary, fronted by a pristine 7km stretch of private beach. Spacious and airy, all the luxury accommodation options offer captivating views of the sand and sea, framed by indigenous shrubs and trees that create an easy island-living feel.
Thera are nine individual Suites to choose from, all with private decks, full bathrooms and stunning sea views.
For small groups of friends or extended families, there is also the magnificent double-storey Private House, with three en-suite rooms. The Private House has private access, a spacious lounge with fireplace, private plunge pool on the deck, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, bar and dining area for effortless entertaining.
The reserve is home to more than 220 species of bird and 30 animal species, including giraffe, zebra, sable and many others than can often be viewed from your suite.
On-site attractions include game dries, guided bush walks, spa treatments, fine dining, games room, swimming and beach activities. From golf to fishing, birdwatching and more, there are also many other activities to be enjoyed in and around the charming town of Port Alfred.

The best time to visit the Eastern Cape
There is no best or worst time to visit Oceana, as every season offers a unique experience on the Sunshine Coast.

- Summer evenings and early mornings are warm.
- Winters (May to October) have chilly nights with moderate daytime temperatures of 22°C/ 71°F)

Wildflife on the Reserve
Oceana is home to rhino, buffalo, giraffe, sable, black impala and zebra amongst others. Photo safaris with expert guides in open vehicles or guided walks will introduce you to these animals in their natural environment. Enjoy a romantic beach picnic and superb dining overlooking the ocean. Take a leisurely stroll or relax on the beach or at the rim-flow pool watching the Humpback and Southern Right whales or dolphins.
